Hi, I'm DJ Halo. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I got my start in mobile DJing by playing house parties and small private events in 1993 at the age of 15.

I joined the Navy in 1996 because I didn't see a future in DJing at the time. Ironically, while in the Navy I had the opportunity to DJ military events, USO concerts, Navy and Marine corps balls, and many weddings. I even had multiple opportunities to DJ overseas in Dubai, Italy, Australia, and Japan!

After a fun, fulfilling, and challenging 20 year career, I retired from active duty service here in the Northwest. I now work full time as the owner and operator of Commotion NW and have the honor and privilege to help you create, plan, and execute the event you've always dreamed of. Let me be your guide.
